Tuta absoluta in KUWAIT

This season (Jan.-June 2011) Tuta aboluta destroyed tomato in Abdilliy farms in north Kuwait. I'm told it first appeared in south Kuwait in Wafraf farms last season (Aug.-Dec. 2010). In my farm it just happened. I had 3 green houses which were completely destroyed by it. I did delay gathering the Tomato because of marketing reasons. The agricultural authorities announced n the newspaper and said they have controlled the problem. I don’t know how! Up to the end of May they did not have any pest in their branch in Abdilliy.
